Great post Stina! I am so glad that you write more about this and explain your experience. You make me understand what it is about without having had the experience myself. Thank you!
ps. I have also tried seeing myself as an representative for the human race whilst meeting animals and out in nature. It's both fun and a way of learning more about our relationship. ds

I see your point here and I can recognize myself some years ago and still sometime I fall into the same trap. Toaday I just had a meating with a college where we desided to join the Transition Sweden ideas. This is a world wide oranization working from a human perspective were nature and man meets. One purpous is to create cultivation in towns and other places where people can grow there own vegetables. Starting from small groups and creating a new understanding and recapture old knowledge. This is a way for humanity to survive beyond the industrial age. Read more about it here: http://www.transitionnetwork.org/.
I think this is a way to bring human and nature together beginning with small groups an dgrowing from under.

Hi Jackie,
The last days I've actually got a new view on love and on The Extended Golden Rule. There is a deeper level of love, with Leonard Cohen's words "That I am not the one who loves – It's love that seizes me". Will write more about that in a blog post later on ...

I just come home from a little walk in the park where I did the suggested exercise and this is what I experienced:
	I felt a deepened awareness and appreciation of the uniqueness of humans on earth: we walk upright on two legs, use our hands in very creative and skilful ways and we have the capacity to know by reflection about every breath we take and every move we make.
	I felt a strong responsibility to use these capacities for the greater good.
	As a representative of humanity I could embrace all different forms of human existence, also those I don´t own and even those I don´t want to own. To be a representative led me beyond judgement and separation. Only Big Heart makes it possible.

Thanks a lot, dear Stina for facilitating this experience.

"Hello, I represent Humanity". I just LOVE it! LOL

The reason it is easier to say it to nature is maybe that there is much more inter-subjectivity with living matter. The more distant and material the "object" is, the less it appears as a subject. Our relation to objects is more of the "truth" character.
